Principal's Message

Welcome to Pathways Prep Academy, and welcome to the new school year!


I am beyond excited to launch Pathways Prep Academy with our Founding Class of 2030. This is a milestone moment for our school and our community, and I'm proud to have every family joining us for it.

At Pathways Prep, we are dedicated to creating a supportive, challenging, and inspiring environment where every student is valued and given the opportunity to thrive. Our staff is committed to providing clear expectations, consistent systems, and meaningful lessons that prepare students for success in college, career, and life.

Our goal for every student is simple: Thrive by 25. We work with each student to define what thriving as an adult looks like for them personally, then backwards plan and set goals together to ensure they're on track to reach it.

Our work is guided by three pillars: 

  • A community-centric learning environment where every student feels welcome, connected, and safe
  • Culturally and Linguistically Responsive, Personalized, Challenge-based learning that connects academics to real-world challenges
  • College and career immersion through dual enrollment, so every student graduates with their A-G and Cal-GETC requirements met.

Building School Spirit Through Our House System


This year, we're also introducing our House System, which encourages positive behavior, builds confidence, and motivates students to support one another. House events, chants, and celebrations bring energy and unity to the entire school. Students feel seen, valued, and empowered to grow into the best version of themselves. The House System transforms our school environment into one that is vibrant, inclusive, and purpose-driven.

At Pathways Prep Academy, our promise is simple: every student will get what they need to succeed — and to Thrive by 25.
